Thanks To Michelin!
Mr. Bib from Michelin came and visited our school for Christmas! He brought every child an adorable stuffed animal, and everyone was grateful. Thanks, Michelin, and Mr. Bib!
TES Celebrates in Style
On Friday, November 18, students, parents, staff and teachers attended a celebration to honor Townville Elementary's National Blue Ribbon Award presented earlier in the week. Students were treated to slide shows, guest speakers, and even a special visit from the Townville Panther. Refreshments, and music provided by the 4th, 5th, and 6th grade choirs and the PHS jazz band rounded out the afternoon of excitement. A big thank you to all who helped plan and participate in this very special day for our school.
Be a Buddy...Not a Bully.
On Monday, October 17, TES kicked off its OLWEUS (pronounced, ol-vay-us) anti-bullying initiative. This is part of the district-wide program being implemented throughout all the schools in Anderson Four. The teachers performed skits and Mrs. Pitts and Miss Owens led the school in learning how to prevent and stop bullying in our school. We are learning the TES Anti-Bullying Rules:
1. We will not bully others.
2. We will try to help students who are bullied.
3. We will try to include students who are left out.
4. If we know that somebody is being bullied, we will tell an adult at school and an adult at home.
Remember, Be a Buddy, Not a Bully!
